And it's what you should be turning too. The King's back with Paper Trail, and, regardless of his status as the love of my life, homeboy came hard with this album. But with him on his way to jail and all, I guess he had to, right? (Don't worry love, I'll be waiting for you on your release date!)
Boyfriend reunites with DJ Toomp (finally! I missed them together since What You Know) and kicks it with Drumma Boy (who, despite the annoying synths in almost every song he produces, has produced most of the music that I am currently turning). Now, I'm no real hip hop head, so I know I'm not qualified to discuss "lyrical content", or "production style", but what I do know is that this album is fiya. Please believe that.
This album will undoubtedly up my T.I. play count to well over 7,000 (it's currently at 4, 406).
My favorites: Every Chance I Get; What Up, What's Haapnin'; I'm Illy; My Life Your Entertainment (feat. Urrrsher); and Whatever You Like (which was, last time I checked, at 403 plays).
[Edit] And my favorites: Whatever You Like; Dead and Gone (feat. Justin Timberlake); Swing Ya Rag (feat. Swizz Beats); You Ain't Missin' Nothing.
